"Elissa Manedon"
Shadow Ranger
By Aixu

http://www.rotg.co.uk/images/btnbansheeranger.jpgDuring the third war the Elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas was decimated by the undead legion of King Arthas and nearly the entire Elven population killed in the fighting.
After the battle some of the best Elven Rangers were raised from the dead by Arthas's necromancers in order to aid him in future conquests.
After the third war these undead Rangers regained their own free will and upon returning to Quel'Thalas were driven back out by their old kin as undead monstrosities.
Driven by bitter hatred and anguish the Shadow Rangers now mount an unrelenting war against their old people and count the Elven Rangers amongst their most bitter enemies.

Like their Elven counterparts, Shadow Rangers are adept at fighting off large numbers of opponents.
Their undead curse has not diminished their ability to fend off enemies with a flurry of arrows each now enchanted with dark magic.
Launches a flurry of arrows at a target enemy unit that hit enemies within a 300 radius of the primary target, dealing damage to each unit hit.

Shadow Rangers shun the company of living things and instead keep company with the vile undead thus many Shadow Rangers have undead familiars they can summon to their side in battle.
Summons a loathsome Gargoyle to the Shadow Ranger's side. The Gargoyle has True Sight, can freely fly over terrain and can carry one item which drops on gargoyle's death.

http://www.rotg.co.uk/images/btnpossession.jpgCurse of Living Death
The Shadow Rangers, themselves cursed to live forever in a damned existence, take no greater pleasure than inflicting the same vile curses on all others who stand before them.
Casts an evil curse that effects all units within a 350 radius area for 18 seconds, slowing their movement and attack speed and giving them a chance to miss.

Level 16= Summon Dark Familiar
Level 17= Divine Blessing
Level 18= Curse of Living Death
Level 19~21= Divine Blessing
Level 22~25= Multiple Shot

Skill Build Justification
Cursed Arrow curses enemies so you need it as fast as you can, no other pell really helps you killing / hunting down heroes (Except Curse of Living Death) so we get Divine Blessing 'till level 11, then we skill Dark Familiar because he can carry items and see invisible units (Don't use him to kill, will be a waste of effort), Multiple Shot is skilled last because I don't think it's useful, feel free to skill it before Blessing if you think you need it.

Item Build
- I'm gonna make 2 item builds this time,
1. is a Slow Attack / High Damage build.
2. is a Fast Attack / Moderate Damage build

Item Build 1.
Final Items
Frostmourne
Amber Ring - Eagles Grace Enchanted ( Can be changed for The One Ring)
Shadow Armor
Waterwalk Boots
The Black Hand
Titan Orb (Optional)

Final Items Justification
Frostmourne slows units and increases your damage. Amber Ring boosts your armor, attack speed, damage. The One Ring helps you sneak up (if you decide to get it) Shadow Armor helps evade attacks and increases movement speed ( I think of it as the Undead Moonglade Armour ), rest speaks for itself, Titan Orb won't stack with a Ice Orb but it stacks with Frostmourne, so get it if you can.

Item Order
1. Spiked Flail. (700 gold)
2. Boots of Speed. (350 gold + 20 wood)
3. Frostmourne. (4400 gold + 400 wood)
5. Shadow Armour. (3200 gold + 175 wood)
6. Amber Ring and Enchant it. (950 gold + 30 wood)
7. The Black Hand. (1000 gold)
8. Waterwalk Boots. (2000 gold + 150 wood)
( 9. The One Ring ( 3600 gold + 380 wood ) ( Optional ))

Item Build 2.
Final Items
Hydra Blade - Ice Orb Enchanted
Amber Ring - Eagles Grace Enchanted ( Can be changed for The One Ring)
Shadow Armor
Waterwalk Boots
The Black Hand
The Black Hand

Final Items Justification
Hydra Blade increased your Attack Speed, Ice Orb slows enemies, Amber Ring boosts your armor, attack speed, damage. The One Ring helps you sneak up (if you decide to get it) Shadow Armor helps evade attacks and increases movement speed ( I think of it as the Undead Moonglade Armour ), we get 2 Black Hands to get a boost in damage, because we don't need other items and Ice Orb won't stack with a Titan Orb.

Item Order
1. Spiked Flail. (700 gold)
2. Boots of Speed. (350 gold + 20 wood)
3. Hydra Blade and Enchant it. (4050 gold + 340 wood)
5. Shadow Armour. (3200 gold + 175 wood)
6. Amber Ring and Enchant it. (950 gold + 30 wood)

9. The Black Hand. (1000 gold)
( 10. The One Ring ( 3600 gold + 380 wood ) ( Optional ))

Your purpose
Chase down low hp heroes or casters, for instance after they fought a Titan or when your team is fighting them. In 4v4 clashes you shut down heroes thanks to Cursed Arrow.

Gameplay
Coming Up!
- Your ultimate slows everything in the AoE, both Allies and Enemies. Be Aware!

That's All folks!

Gratz for all these guides lova, it's always nice to share your point of view with others and you participate alot in the life of the forum, thanks !

Cursed arrow/Stats may be a strong build early game, you will more than likely lack of flexibility. You can tank and deal with single heroes easily, but you will end up doing only support fast. You seems to play every heroes like hardcore damage dealer, and I think it's an error.
I'd rather max Cursed arrow with stats, but after you come to the ultimate, get 2 levels of Multiple shot. 2 levels because of the 4 targets and the 20 dmg boost, so you can hit the whole team. That'll let you do some AoE dmg, renforcing your support role, and creep lots easier, as you can often use it twice in big camp, which is a big helper.

And the summon is far from efficient if you take it to this lvl, he needs to be taken first, cause he has a really low life, he will get killed really too fast at the lvl you will get him. And don't take the True vision excuse, as you get Eagle grace on your equipment, which, if I'm right, gives it ;)

I have to agree with him, I think creeping early is better than trying to get kills, and if your planning to get early kills get a net , a grenade and poison spear with starting golding, kills at level 1.
