Storyline
Tide of the Revenant sets in a era long after the Burning Crusade, when everything appeared to be back to normal throughout the whole world.
But all were misled for a threat slumbered underneath their noses for aeons, waiting for it's moment to show itself.
Where the Revenant came from, no one is sure, they lived amongs the creatures of the world for ages, making no serious threat, or so they thought.
In about a month, most of the world's population felt the rage of the Revenant.
Leaving nothing but burned down buildings and cracked bodies where they went.
But even in this dark time, some try to resist.
A brave group of Humans faces the Revenant to prevent them from destroying everything they hold dear.
Heroes from allover the glove travel to this region to battle amongst the Human Vanguard, or the Revenant.
Main Features
Tide of the Revenant is a Aeon of Strife-type map (AoS), with 3 lanes where players fight versus creeps and heroes from the countering team,
The bases of both teams have only 2 lanes to enter from, for instance, Revenant players can only enter Vanguard base from top and middle lane, Vanguard players can only enter Revenant base from bottom and middle lane.
Another feature of TotR are the 5 take-and-hold Points in the map ( North, West , Middle, East and South).
Players should strife to take and hold these Points for each of them spawns an additional group of creeps which joins the fight,
thus taking these points will ensure your win.
A teleporter *is located in the bottom-right corner of the Revenant Forest and top-left corner of the Vanguard Forest, teleporting players to the other location, making ganking, defending and taking over Points easier, but also harder in some cases. Use this teleporter wisely.
To prevent games from taking much longer than 1 hour, a so called 'God' spawns for each side after 60 minutes of game time, replacing the Box and Pedestal, thus making them the targets to kill for the win triggers, these gods walk towards eachother in the middle lane.
Players will have to both kill the enemy team's God and prevent them from killing theirs.
