"How do you design maps/Can you help me with my map?" requests.

Okay guys, as several of you have now asked me to teach you how to make maps I'm going to make a stand on my position on this.

I simply cannot instruct you each one by one, step by step how to make a map, it takes months to learn everything and it simply isnt possible for me to work on ROTG, run my clan, moderate this forum, host games, live my life AND teach people about a subject that can be very very complicated.

If all the tutorials and guys at hive workshop can't help you than nethier can I as I get too many requests to help work on maps and teach people that I can possibly cope with.

Also check out wc3campaigns.net, its a great site for modding and can teach you a good deal as it has a large number of resources tutorials ect ect.

And I agree with Steel, JASS takes a huge amount of time to learn

And everything else, not as long, but quite a while

Also, I do have some experience with the World Editor, you can ask me questions

I understand how you feel Steelb_l_ade! I hate it when people ask me "SHOW ME HOW TO CREATE SWEET GAMEZ0RZ LIKE YOURS!" You can't just say "oh trigger one is 2+2 and condition one is 4" It takes time to learn maps. And there are a lot of websites out there that can help. For example the have a forum on the hive workshop and just ask questions there if you are having problems with your map, but they have tutorials for about everything else.

Is there REALLY a point to this post? Steel already pointed that out about hive, and going on about how it isnt that simple has already been done to
