Map takes a bit long for people to load. Any way to make the time shorter?

Steel's made a "LITE" version which is smaller than the normal version of ROTG.

It can be downloaded here:

However, the LITE version doesn't work atm. for the 1.24 patch, but if you're playing it on LAN, you can use a patch changer to make it work.

The long download is kinda unavoidable with all the new features im afraid..
blizz expanding map size has allowed me to include AI among other improvements.

However you could try to host the game through a program called List Checker - it's mainly used for DotA but can host any map, it's sort of an online LAN based hosting program - meaning you host on Battle.net but through something close to a LAN connection.

It's helped a lot on the general lag and delay in larger maps which I've played with my friends.
