What's your favourite hero?

Got a favourite hero u like to play most of the time, what do you like best about your hero and what spells do you like the most?

My fav would be the court wizard with her polymorph ability and as soon as the enemy hero turns into a critter you could chuck a massive metor right on their head and BOOM.

another spell i like is the voodoo trolls utimate where he shrinks the enemy hero, looks funny ingame " a cute little Demon"

Hard to say tbh, changes all the time :)
Atm im trying out the Witch Hunter in games with no undead enemies to see what way of playing that could work.

My overall favourite thou, is the Elementalist, Lich or Shadowmancer :) Massive support damage ftw!

I'd say Shadowmancer is the best support ever ;) 6 Armor buff is sickening... + Endurance Armour + Armour enchant.... +14 armour = atleast 50% dmg reduction ^^

i love his ultimate chain lighting does loads of damage when you get the chance and the spell book is cool ability. :p

Disruptor... I met a fairly intelligent disruptor the other day... Pendant of Mana + Mana Boost Upgrade = All dead >.<

Seriosly, given the right item combo, disruptor is deadly.

Let's see.. Ultimate = Imba, Spell Resistance = Imba, Mana Burn = Great, last skill I don't know, but it's probably nice aswell ;)

Crusader = The most boring support ever. Seriously, the only use I can see him have is to buff his hp and then go mass suicide heals ^^ Fun hero, probably really good if played right, I haven't figured him out yet ^^ My current analysis = not imba enough ;)

I'm thinking about trying to make a Bear strategy with Archdruid... Running around with bird ain't any fun for other players tbh.

Disruptor: One web (two webs depending on whether the Spell resistance blocks webs or not - can't remember - and if not, then the chance of it already being hit by some other spell before throwing the web in mass battle is rather big) = ulti cancel, no mana left => most likely dead Disruptor.

Please consider the easy ways of countering things, before claiming they are imba :)

Hmm... I always get amused by the flashy thingie, and then die ^^ Anyways, how many people always walk around with nets? In big battles, people are usually busy with something, I don't know.. Net disabling ulti haven't quite gotten into my brain yet.. But... Ain't it too late when the blue thingie starts coming? I thought it was like 2 seconds channel, then cast a spell... Rather than channel the whole way >.<

"...how many people always walk around with nets?" -The clever/good players do - they've learned just how useful a single net can be. Whether it's for killing, escaping or canceling channeling spells :)

When the disrupter stands still, absorbing his mana then he is channeling - and ulti can be interupted, causing him to no damage and have no mana left.

If the "blue thing" you're talking about is the final blast where he releases the energy, then yes at that point it's too late to cancel :) But before that, there's plenty o time to cancel it.

I've got to say that the Arcane Crusader has got to be the worst hero i've played so far. Not sure what's my favourite atm it's out of the frost drake warrior guy or the kitty. Played about 3/5 of the heros so far.

Well, after some consideration my on my favourite hero its a tricky one. It was most definatly the Hell Knight but ive had a few games with the Arcane Crusader and despite the general public opinion on him I love this guy! But again I suppose ive always been amused by Paladins that whack people to death slowly with huge hammers.
I think its because both heroes are quite hard to do well with so it makes for more intresting games but I just like the concepts & powers of these two.

Arcane Crusader says melee right? If it does can you change it to support and I don't see how he is much like a paladin ... he can go invisible and transfer his hp and stuff ... eh that's just my opinion. Sorry not trying to turn this into a arcane crusader arguement forum.

When I said paladin whacking people I was referring to the animations on the model =)
Yes the class does say "Melee" when it should be "Support Melee" but "Support Melee" wont actually fit on the command card =)

Witch hunter Imo Has to be the best hero. And hes my favorite. I mean i cant see him dieing at all. He has a Aoe heal. He is esspaclly strong verse undead which is a plus. He can pretty much cure any buff. And has a nice mini stun.
so in any sitution he cant really be beat.

I like to take potshots at people using Focus Magic...and then they either get annoyed and leave, or they get spellshatter armor :(

...and then I get nets and javelins, and all is well again. Woo.

I'd say Court mage.
She is freaking awesome at everything..
She is a beast at creeping, she supports very well will Hex/Image, with some practice, she can do kinda' high dmg with Meteor, and she tanks correctly cause of the image too !
She is really well rounded, and I love the playstyle.

Well, even if the Court mage is good, she is not that easy to play for newcomer. And since games now are mostly newcomers and 2-3 ancients, it's normal that people don't play her much.

I haven't really found a hero that I like yet. Everything is so underpowered. (Of course, that shows how balanced it is.) But, because they are all so balanced I have trouble actually finding one to really say is my favorite.

I love spider before the big spider nerf (which make it much weaker), right now I either go demon and do quick kill on low HP players (idk why do they all like running around with red HP at day when everyone can see them) or some random hero.

disruptor is really imba with cool ult, but the casting time made ult easy to run from, I once run from a full team (with disruptor and ult) with red HP from the start.
easy way to counter disruptor is use meele hero (less mana-needing kind), and get something to break spell (ult)

Ravagore all the way. Top melee damage, coupled with insatiable hunger and just general awesomeness in every category, Ravagore makes ripping things to shred even more fun!
