I. Basic Information
Arcane Crusaders are princes or nobles that seek to earn their right to the crown by example.
Crusaders seek to battle evil creatures, free people from the grips of tyrants and fight dark and wicked forces wherever they can find them in order to prove themselves worthy of one day ruling their kingdoms.
Before they become Crusaders they are trained to fight by the best trainers in the realm and schooled in magic by the Arch mages. Ruthlessly pursued by fanatical Witch Hunters looking for roots of heresy they are true heroes of the kingdom and a great inspiration to the populace.

Crusaders are not true casters but instead have been taught the secrets of magic by Arch mages.
They therefore need to carry spellbooks to use most of their magic.
The Spellbook contains 4 spells that need to be learnt before they can be used.

Bless : Increases Friendly Unit's damage by 10%. Requires hero level 1.
Shield of Might : Increases caster's armour value by 3 Requires hero level 6.
Invisibility : Turns caster invisible, if unit attacks or casts a spell the unit will be visible, lasts for 10 seconds. Requires hero level 12.
Sleep : Enemy unit is put to sleep. Lasts for 3 seconds on Heroes. Requires hero level 18.

Tutored in magic by the most talented mages in the land Crusaders can use limited spells, including summoning magical hammers to smite enemies that approach.
Summons several magical hammers that hover in the air near the Crusader for a short time, Striking enemies that come within 300 range for 20 damage per hammer with a 15 %chance to stun teh target for 0.5 seconds.

Level 1 : Summons 1 magical hammer that lasts for 10 seconds dealing 20 damage to enemies. Requires hero level 1.

Arcane Crusaders are selfless individuals who often come to the aid of their allies during battle, lending them their strength and keeping them sustained through sheer force of will so their allies can continue to fight.
Invigorate is a channeling spell that can be used to heal friendly units by transferring some of the Crusader's hitpoints to the target over time.

Level 1 : Transfers 20 hitpoints per second from the Crusader to a ally. Requires hero level 1.
Level 2 : Transfers 30 hitpoints per second from the Crusader to a ally. Requires hero level 3.
Level 3 : Transfers 40 hitpoints per second from the Crusader to a ally. Requires hero level 5.
Level 4 : Transfers 50 hitpoints per second from the Crusader to a ally. Requires hero level 7.

http://www.rotg.co.uk/images/btnstormhammer.jpgRighteous Wrath
Arcane Crusaders are the future hope of the kingdom and thus have been equipped with the most powerful magic they can control.
In battle they can unleash crackling blasts of lighting form their hammers as they smash foes apart.
Righteous Wrath is a spell that enchants the Crusaders weapon with lighting for 30 seconds allowing all his attacks to have a chance to fire bolts of chain lighting at enemies.

Level 1 : Gives each successful attack the hero makes against a enemy a 25% chance to unleash a bolt of chain lighting. Requires hero level 6.
Level 2 : Gives each successful attack the hero makes against a enemy a 50% chance to unleash a bolt of chain lighting. Requires hero level 12.

V. Skill Build Justification
Smite first! Ofcourse! Then 2 levels of Arcane Spellbook for Shield of Might and Bless which are the only spells you'll need from it, after that max out Divine Blessing and Righteous Wrath. You don't need Invigorate to be a amazing killing machine!

VI. Item Build
Final Items
Hydra Blade - Bash Enchanted
Vampiric Amulet - Mana Boost Enchanted
Armour of Brilliance - Armour Enchanted
Waterwalk Boots
The Black Hand
Titan Orb(Optional)

VII. Final Items Justification
This is where most of you will most likely think 'wtf'. But let me get this straight: the Bash enchant has 15% chance to stun. So do the 3 hammers you spawn every time you fight someone or fight a titan. That results in 60% Chance that you Stun (!!!), Good job you made a stunning Raphael. Vampiric Amulet is to help you survive (only 15% will be enough since you will have plenty of damage reduction) Black Hand for some extra damage and the Armour helps you and your team. So why the hell not.

Feel free to get Windblade before Hydra Blade!! I Just prefer to rush it.

VIII. Item Order
1. Spiked Flail. (700 gold)
2. Boots of Speed. (350 gold + 20 wood)
3. Hydra Blade and Enchant it. (3800 gold + 310 wood)

5. Vampiric Amulet and Enchant it. (1700gold + 155 wood)
6. The Black Hand. (1000 gold)
7. Waterwalk Boots. (2000 gold + 150 wood)

IX. Your purpose
What can I put here? Bash on them, harder! I said HARDER!

X. Gameplay
The gameplay of this style of playing is pretty straightforward, but there are some things you have to keep in mind.
So I'll take the liberty to write them down because that's what a good guide-writer does.

Keep in mind that your spells have different durations!!
This is crucial to understand because if you cast them in the wrong order you won't get their full potentional.
You either go Bless or Shield of Might:

Bless & Shield of Might : 45 Seconds Duration.
Smite : 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 Seconds Duration. (Depending on it's level obviously)
Righteous Wrath : 30 Seconds Duration.

So remember that when you're ambushing (Means you can 'prepare' for an attack instead of respond to enemy movements) you cast either Bless or Shield of Might first, Righteous Wrath second, and Smite last.
If you don't you'll waste Smite's shorter duration when casting the other spells.

Whether to pick Bless or Shield of Might?!
This is all depending on the stage of the game, and/or your enemies.
Let's have a look at what both spells do to Arcane Crusader,
These statistics are on a lvl 17 Arcane Crusader with full items and a +2 Titan Orb. (Just so you know)

55 - 81 +55 Damage without Bless / 55 - 81 +68 Damage with Bless.
5 +11.2 Armor without Shield of Might (Damage Reduction: 49%) / 5 +14.2 Armor with Shield of Might (Damage Reduction: 54%).

Bless increases your damage-output amazingly,
Shield of Might increases your survivability pretty good too.

So remember this:
When ambushing people - Bless ( You need to kill the enemy team as quick as possible )
When getting ambushed - Shield of Might ( Improves your survivability so you can turn an ambush in a slaughter )
When farming - Bless ( Quicker farming is quicker items )
When killing Titans - Shield of Might ( Probably won't be alone, so you don't need the damage. You're a better tank )
When killing Argonax - Bless ( Kill Argonax as quick as possible, tanking won't help against him )
